Roland was a remarkable man. A gentle giant and well known Canberra identity who is remembered fondly for his varied roles including those at the War Memorial and Canberra Club where he shared plenty of banter and many a tall tale as the “Ringer” for the ex Services.

He had a keen interest in people and their stories, and he enjoyed collecting militaria and other diverse items of historical interest.

A well travelled man, he amassed a myriad of items over the decades and his very eclectic collection is being offered for auction on ALLBIDS in multiple sessions from our Fyshwick showrooms as well as onsite at Bungendore, Carwoola and Braidwood.

Future auction sessions include militaria, vehicles, machinery and clearing of two further rural sites.
