Most of us have purchased something online – clothing, home wares, tools. Many of us opt for the ‘buy now’ items to avoid the pressure of bidding on items, the purchase is certain and it’s instant. Other people however are avid online bidders, who love a bargain and the thrill of it. There are certain types of bidders – which one are you?

The ‘Last Minute Bidder’

Less than five minutes remaining on this item…your palms are sweaty, you’re clicking and re-clicking refresh, your eyes burn into the screen, seeing the numbers ticking down in those final moments… Will you have the winning bid? Some of us may have played the role of ‘last minute bidder,’ or perhaps been beaten by the infamous last minute bidder. They’re known for appearing in the final moments and stealing the item
you’ve devoted the past two weeks of your life watching and waiting. Beware of the last minute bidder, or become one so you don’t miss out!

The ‘Set and Forget Bidder’

Then there’s the ‘set and forget bidder’ , they avoid the stress of a bidding war, yet may not always win the auction. In other words there the bidder that’s interested but not enough to follow through with keeping an eye on the item to win it. They place a bid, don’t really need the item so forget about it. Sometimes they might enter their
maximum budget; yet often have the mentality that if they win they win, if not onto the next auction!

The ‘I Will Not Be Beaten’ Bidder

Lastly there is the ‘I will not be beaten’ bidder, they’re determined and driven. They are keyboard warriors dedicating time and money to items that they’re not even sure they really want just so Bidder360 doesn’t. Beware, as the name suggests they WILL not be beaten so you had better hope there is more than one of the item available!
