The electric car has come a long way. The Mitsubishi Miev was the first electric car to sell more than 10,000 vehicles and now also sells in Europe under Renault and Citroen badges. With a range of 150km, it is ideal for commuting and attending meetings around town.

One of the great advantages of this car for short journeys in traffic is that it replenishes its battery when you brake or even decelerate. This unique feature makes it ideal for city driving, but not so good for going to Sydney.

Businesses and government have been the main buyer of this car so far, and at around $50,000 it certainly sits well above the cheaper end of the market. (If you want to know more about the cheaper end of the market, click here!) But it has all the options and is a thoroughly modern car inside and out. To check out a review of the Miev, click here!

Thanks to the ACT Conservation Council, Canberra residents now have a chance to test drive this astonishing 100% electric vehicle for two weeks. Find out for yourself just how quiet, soothing & convenient commuting can be.

All money raised goes to the Conservation Council of the ACT. ALLBIDS charges no commission, Buyer’s Premium or other fees for this service.
