Beer Hops Charity Auction for beyondblue

ALLBIDS aligned with Hop Product Australia’s (HPA) first ever ‘The 2014 Premiere Crop of the Hops Charity Auction’ to raise money and awareness for beyondblue’s ‘Man Therapy’ initiative. The program provides men suffering from depression and anxiety with strategies designed to protect their well-being and guide them to professional treatment if/when they require support.
The 2014 Premiere Crop of the Hops Charity Auction provided ALLBIDS with a whopping 100kg of beer hops for us to auction through our site. Technically, it also meant we needed to develop a custom login page and custom tracking pages for the vendors so that brewers from around the world could sign up.
Bidders came from as far away as America and Ireland to put money into the cause, but the bragging rights for the most donated came down to a traditional slugfest between CUB & Lion Nathan. The auction was a huge success, raising around $10,000 for the cause.
