The Hyatt Hotel Canberra is among the city’s most prestigious 5 star hotels. Originally built in the 1920s as the “Hotel Canberra” for the sole purpose of housing politicians, the building went through various changes before it eventually became the “Hyatt Hotel Canberra” in 1988, the only international 5 star in the capital.
Many eminent people have stayed at the Hyatt especially in the sumptuous Presidential Suite, including actors, singers, professional athletes and high-profile businessmen. As a matter of fact, last year the Hyatt Canberra alone was host to 13 different head of states from across the globe!
The Hyatt is now refurbishing various sections of the hotel and is giving you a unique opportunity to become the next owner of some of these items! They have put various high-quality furniture settings up for auction, including arm chairs, outdoor tables and lounge chairs.
If you’re in need of gym equipment, then you’re in luck as the Hyatt is also putting up some of their Star Trac cardio gear such as cross trainers, recumbent bikes, stepper machines, upright bikes and treadmills. There are also free weights, barbells and dumbbells to cater for the bodybuilders out there.

These items are all currently sitting at the Hyatt hotel, who have allowed the public to come and inspect these items on Monday 9th December.
