Introduced in 1968 the W114 was the first of the new era of styling for the Mercedes, replacing the W110 sedans known for their fintail styling. This generation of Mercedes would go on to be known for their unprecedented reliability and despite being discontinued in 1976 it is not unusual to see these still being heavily used today across Europe and Africa. The 230 model would be fitted with a new generation of the famed M180 inline six cylinder which powered vehicles such as the military spec Unimog 404.
This very well presented and preserved example of a W114 Mercedes 230 sedan is ready to be enjoyed after sitting in storage since 2011. The 230 shows clear signs of the care that has gone into maintaining the condition of this car and retains the original books with good partial service history, 2x keys, original NSW plates and is in running and driving order. The subtle cream exterior pairs perfectly with the brown leather interior which is again presented in fantastic condition throughout. This is an impressive example that is not to be missed and would make for an ideal weekend club classic.
