Shop for Store Fixtures at Our Giant Liquidation Sale

Thursday, 20 September 2018 | Mike Leano

ALLBIDS has just started selling off a massive trove of shop fittings, storage and shelving items, display cases, and security systems from a large, closed-down international retailer. The liquidation sale consists of 43 separate auctions in all, encompassing hundreds of pieces of store equipment.

Here's why you should take notice: some of the lots being auctioned off would fetch for around $20,000 to $80,000 when purchased brand new. Here, you'll spend only a fraction of that price.

The store equipment on offer here is perfect for:

  • Retailers in need of quality shop fittings like display cases, baskets and shelves.
  • Warehouses that need storage and handling supplies like pallets, racking and trolleys.

Intrigued yet? Wait till you see what's in store. Here are some of the highlights:

20 Bays of Assorted Pegboard Shelving

Let's say a bay of pegboard and its shelves cost about $150 each on retail (which is a conservative estimate). If you multiply that by 20, you get a very rough idea how much this collection of items would normally cost at a store.

So this auction is broken down as follows:

1x-16m long x 3.68m high single-sided pegboard

  • 38x 0.5m shelves.
  • 13 bays of frontage.

1x- 8.6m long x 3.68m high single sided pegboard

  • 43x 0.5m shelves.
  • 7 bays of frontage.

Other items included

  • 1x basket of hooks.
  • 5x shopping baskets.
  • 1x card/book holder.
  • 6x display boards.

Large Commercial Checkout Counter

This auction features two blue-top checkout counters (with a timber laminate finish) and is made up of the following:

  • A total of nine checkout bays with drawers and bag holders.
  • A total of four bays with drawers.
  • One bay for computer setup.
  • A built-in display along the front side.

For comparison: a brand new, fairly sized (but relatively smaller) checkout counter can cost nearly $1,500. Even if you end up spending the same amount for this auction, you'll still get far more value for your money.

APC SURT6000XL1 Smart UPS and Power Pack

Meet power supply manufacturer APC's Smart UPS. It provides temporary power when the electricity goes out, and protects your valuable equipment from power surges. A brand new unit should set you back by around $5,000+ on average, but could cost more.

The auction also includes a SBP10KRM14U power pack.

Two-Door B-Class Commercial Safe

This large, two-door safe comes with the following:

  • Dual-hinged doors with Lagard electronic combination locks (combinations included).
  • Two sections.
  • 13 shelves.
  • Two internal compartments with key lock.
  • One internal compartment with key/combination lock (key and combo not supplied).
  • 870mm (w) x 1700mm (d) x 1950mm tall.
  • Pallet jack/lift trolley/fork lift channels in base.

We're not sure how much commercial safes of these dimensions cost, but considering that smaller variants are typically priced around $1,500, it's probably safe to say you'd spend more for something this size.

Inter-M PAM-520 Zone Amplifiers with Mobile Rack

Looking for an amplifier for your store's public address system? This should be a bargain. A PAM-520 lets you control the output of each speaker zone and usually costs around $1,500. Its features include:

  • 6 audio inputs.
  • 5 zone selector with attenuator.
  • 24-volt DC emergency power.

As of this writing, the current bid on most of the items is $1. Naturally, we should expect the bid price to increase as the auction goes on, but one thing is certain: you can get the items here at a lower price than retail.

So check our liquidation auction while it's still up. The sale is scheduled to end on Wednesday, October 3 at varying times (depending on the auction). Make sure you click "Watch" on the items you're interested in buying.
